SHADOWFAXUAS SF30

The SF30 is a small, extreme-duration Group 3 VTOL fixed wing hybrid tactical unmanned aerial vehicle, with a maximum payload carrying capacity of up to 7kg, flight durations in excess of 10 hours and sortie ranges of more than 800km.

The UAV's VTOL capability allows it to operate in harsh environments, eliminating the need for runways and expensive and cumbersome launch equipment. The UAV can take off and land autonomously anywhere, even on moving platforms and in adverse weather conditions.

Despite a wingspan of more than 4m, it packs into a transport case that is only 1.7m long, ensuring a highly portable system that can be managed by a crew of two.

The 40-litre modular payload bay allows for multiple payload capability and the accommodation of a wide variety of high-quality sensors. 

Our patent-pending Gravi-shift (TM) system allows for in-field payload changes as well as the accommodation of large asymmetrically mounted payloads, whilst preserving flight duration.

The UAV can carry a wide range of communications equipment, including satcom, cellular communications and encrypted MIMO radios, offering secure data links and vast operational range in contested environments.

The  quick-swap internal combustion propulsion unit permits easy maintenance and vastly improved reliability and platform availability and utilisation rates.

The SF30 is ITAR free, offering easy export capability to most countries.
